Chronic Physical Pain

I fell asleep in pain again last night. The dream that followed was interesting. I position myself
America has become so unrelatable.

Is that even a real word? Oh well, let me explain to you what I mean by unrelatable. There is no genuine concern for others. People are being shot in the streets for reasons that make no sense at all. Elderly people receive substandard care in nursing homes nationwide. Children are being bullied and coerced that to be themselves an innocent child enjoying life is wrong. In the workplace, people compete for positions oftentimes forgetting or perhaps never even knowing the true mission of the organization they work for. Integrity honesty compassion concern those are words that unfortunately in my lifetime I age seen a massive decline in the good ole US of A.

Perhaps my pain is symbolic of all the millions of people here who cry out in pain each night. Crying from the pain of losing a loved one to violence. Or crying from the pain of loved ones lost to drug abuse. What about the pain of those people crying out in nursing homes hospitals and other so-called caregiving facilities because the staff is too short to adequately meet the needs of those they are there to serve. Oh my, let’s not mention the pain of those who have been poisoned by chemicals and substandard food ingredients. Who is this unrelatable nation? Where did you come from?

Economic greed and fear of the unknown aka prejudice.
